Aubree's Pizzeria Plans Job Fair in Dexter

The family restaurant will create 80 new jobs with its expansion.

As Aubree’s Pizzeria and Grill moves closer to opening its doors later this summer, the downtown business is hosting a job fair on Wednesday and Thursday.

According to a press release provided by the restaurant, Aubree's hopes to fill 80 positions at its Dexter franchise.

The job fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the new restaurant, formally occupied by the North Point Seafood & Steakhouse, 8031 N. Main St.

General Manager Lisa Morden said job seekers can attend the fair on either Wednesday or Thursday and interviews will be conducted on the spot. Selected applicants will be hired immediately. The restaurant is seeking servers, bartenders, line-cooks, hosts, delivery drivers, server assistants and dishwashers.

“We pride ourselves on being over-the-top friendly. Angry or unhappy people need not apply,” Morden said. “We're about four simple things: food, service, atmosphere and being a good neighbor.”

The new restaurant includes a family friendly sports bar with more than 20 televisions, 14 beers on draft and more than 15 Michigan brewed beers and an all-you-can-eat salad and pizza lunch buffet and daily happy hour.

Does this mean there is no place to eat but a sports bar with 20 television sets? No family restaurant section?
