Cleary University Honors Dexter Resident Steve Feinman

The Dexter Rotary Club president was honored for his commitment to small business entrepreneurship.

 

Steve Feinman of Dexter was honored at Cleary University’s Entrepreneurs Forum during the university's Founders Week in Howell on Oct 5.

The award, presented by Stewart Brannen, staff director of the Cleary Micro-Business Incubator, is for Feinman’s continued work in promoting entrepreneurship.

Feinman is the michigan district director of Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE). He is a member of Ann Arbor SCORE and does counseling in multiple locations including Cleary University as well as the Dexter and Chelsea libraries. Feinman is also the current president of the Rotary Club of Dexter.

SCORE provides free and confidential counseling to small businesses in all stages of development and operation. SCORE counselors are all volunteers who have had extensive experience in operating and or managing a business. SCORE in Michigan has nine chapters with 305 volunteers and provides counseling service to 2,300 firms.
