On Oct. 21 Wylie Elementary School in Dexter enjoyed an assembly with special guest, Paws, the mascot for the Detroit Tigers.
Wylie Principal Mary Cooper planned the assembly to thank the students for their hard work on the recent MEAP test and also to acknowledge the Tigers' hard work throughout the 2011 season.
During the assembly, 40 Wylie staff and students played a game of wiffle ball and each class had their photo taken with the Tigers' mascot.
