Vote for the Best Daycare in Dexter
Let us know the best daycare in Dexter Village, Scio Twp., Webster Twp., and Lima Twp. so we can put it to a vote and find out which is the Readers’ Choice 2012 winner.
Where can you find the best daycare in Dexter?
Patch is relaunching its Readers’ Choice program and we’re asking you, your friends, family, neighbors, coworkers and anyone else who works with children to nominate the best daycare in the Dexter area.
We’ll keep accepting votes through Aug. 17.
The choices here are based on your nominations. If you're wondering why a particular spot isn't included, it's because it wasn't nominated.
Feel free to leave persuasive statements in the comments and to tell your friends family and others to participate.
We're hoping this process helps us discover your favorite places in Dexter. Have fun and good luck to all businesses or locations that are involved.
PS: Sign up for the Dexter Patch newsletter to find out when voting starts so you can support your favorite institution in the Readers' Choice contest.

Generations Together, hands down! We've had our kids there from infants to school aged summer camp. The teachers are wonderful and well trained. The kids love going every day and come home with great stories about their day.

Generations Together is the best for our family. We took a tour of many others but when we wanted our children to feel it at home so it was/is GT hands down. We are very excited to placing our third child there next Fall. Awesome staff & awesome other families there. They helped us through a very difficult period when the tornado took our home. We are so grateful they are here for us.

It's Generations Together for us, too - We knew it the minute we stepped into their playfully-muraled, safety-enhancing lobby! My three kids combined have spent eleven years in the preschool program (with one more to go for the youngest), and we're at seven years and counting in the school-age program. GT's dedicated and well-trained staff have loved and nurtured my kids, helping them grow socially, emotionally and academically ("best prepared kids in kindergarten," a teacher friend tells me) while caring for them physically (We couldn't have asked for a faster, more thorough response when my middle kiddo was diagnosed with a peanut allergy at age one). We'll be sad when the day comes that we outgrow GT!

Generations Together is the facility of choice for our family as well. Leaving our children in the hands of well-trained, skilled, caring, and nurturing individuals gives me peace of mind while I'm at work. My children loved going to GT every single day and there is nothing more I can ask for as a parent. Our fourth, and youngest child, has just finished GT and heads to school next year. We will all miss being a part of the GT family. As an educator, I can also say that I am very happy with the educational opportunities my children experienced throughout their years at GT.

Generations Together ! It is such an amazing place. Not only does the building give off a warm feeling but the staff and management are truly and genuinely supportive and caring. I was actually in the first graduating class of GT and can still remember so many happy memories from this place almost 18 years later! It is a unique place to bring children but also a wonderful place to bring older adults who might need extra care during the day. The two generations spending time together is magic and when i have children of my own i will not hesitate to bring them here, because i will know without doubt that they are in safe and caring hands.

Generations Together is the best daycare I have been able to find. My son (2 yrs) LOVES all the teachers and tells me every morning he wants to go to school. he's always happy when I drop him off and when I pick him up. The teachers and management staff are always there to help with any questions or problems you might be having and get the answers/results immediately. I have recommended them to everyone I know that has kids!

Generations Together is a wonderful, nurturing environment for both ends of the age spectrum. My niece and nephew have both received care there since birth. I think the intergenerational aspect has contributed to how well socialized they are at young ages, and in turn, to how well they interact with the world. I wish there were more places like this around!

Our vote goes to Generations Together, we recently moved here from NJ and were looking for a day care for our son . After visiting a few around the area we freezed on GT and my son has been a happy camper from day 1. The teachers are very nice and take care of him , there is finally a place where we can leave him and not worry about him and the best part is he loves it there too :)

Burns Laliberte Family - We vote for Generation Together - Both our girls (age 7 and 9 now) attended preschool at Generations and had a great experience. Now they attend elementary school in Ann Arbor. They still look forward to camp at the GT Club house every summer!
