Police Investigate Attempted Home Invasion in Dexter

Unknown suspects attempted to enter a home in the 8000 block of Sandfield Court in the Village of Dexter on Monday.

 

The Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office is urging residents to exercise caution to protect their property in the Village of Dexter.

On Aug. 20, a resident in the 8000 block of Sandfield Court reported hearing the doorbell to the home ring several times. When the homeowner did not respond, unknown suspects attempted to gain entry through a door wall.

Anyone with information about the incident is being asked to call the sheriff's tip line at 734-973-7711 or Deputy Ballard at 734-971-8400, Ext. 67447.
