Kezma, Good for you. Are we the only one's that care? Gary Peters office said," they don'tRead Moreh ave the money to fight the Koch brothers ads." Doesn't anyone see that the Koch brothers are buying our country. !

What I think is amazing is Gary Peter's district is on the east side of the state and Grand RapidsRead Morei s on the west. People need to think about what they are exposed to.

Humor, type into google anti obamacare and the Wendt family commercial comes up. Actually theRead Moretruth is they pay about the same as their old policy, have better coverage and pays for the five kids expenses. The family is eligible for the CHIPS program in Michigan...from what I understand this based on income. Shannon Wendt declined because she didn't like the participating physicians. The husband sell real estate and she is a stay at home mom, they live in a beautiful large lake home.

Well, the well funded 6.3 million dollar ad buy by the Koch Brothers is on the west side of theRead Morestat e with the same lies. http://www.mlive.com/news/grand-rapids/index.ssf/2014/03/west_michigan_woman_featured_i.html http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/fact-checker/wp/2014/03/26/big-claims-few-details-in-anti-obamacare-ad-alleging-soaring-costs/?wprss=rss_national n this last link is this information. Wendt, incidentally, is a Republican precinct delegate for Michigan’s 2nd congressional district. In June, she signed a toughly worded petition warning GOP lawmakers in the Michigan House of Representatives not to accept expansion of Medicaid or the creation of a health care exchange permitted under the Affordable Care Act—or face a suspension of “all monetary and logistical support.” The petition sought to bind the Republicans to the themes of the party’s 2012 platform that declared the law was an “attack on our Constitution” and an “attempt to impose upon Americans a euro-style bureaucracy.”

I've un-subscribed--it just doesn't have any relevance to Dexter anymore.......
Julie Woods March 05, 2014 at 08:11 PM
I'll be doing the same thing, sadly.

You're at it again, Matt. "The Affordable Care Act has forced the hand of some employers to Read Morereduce the total hours employees will work, thus keeping them technically as part-time employees to avoid offering health insurance." Do you have proof that can be fact-checked? What are the numbers? Answer. There are none, because it is impossible to compile these actual numbers. If you are going to post such a statement, back it up with facts from reliable sources. I understand your need for self-promotion, but, be up-front about it.
Misty March 03, 2014 at 06:27 AM
I agree Julie. There is no way to fact check this statement. To Matt, please post your stateRead Morelicen se number so we can fact check your credentials with the state.

It is crazy simple to sign up for the ACA. There are subsidies for those who qualify. Why wouldRead Morean yone go to a profiteer to sign up for coverage that can be don for free. And why would one choose to use a "Financial Professional" who thinks the ACA is a waste of taxpayers' money. This guy might say he will help you sign up for free advice. But, make no mistake, folks, he'll get commissions and/or fees, and WILL attempt to sell you other financial products. Caveat emptor. Buyer beware.

Dear Mr Walters, As you already know, we are very sorry for the length of time that your repairRead Moretook . Unfortunately, your insurance requires us to use a specialty lab located in New York and their timing is not under our control. Trust me - it does not make us happy either! As you know, we informed you of these delays throughout. We even contacted your insurance company to have them discuss the delay with you as well. We will not, however, respond to profane, abusive, distasteful phone calls from you. That is shameful. We truly are sorry for the delay. Hopefully, you are pleased with your glasses and will enjoy them for a long time.

Mr. Walters, I have to say that my family has been going to this eye center since they opened. WeRead Moreh ave only had the best care and been treated like family every year we go to get our eyes checked. They have been excellent! We will continue to go to Dexter Family Eye care for all of our needs. I never will hesitate to refer anyone who needs glasses or contacts to this office. Maybe you should be writing this about your Insurance Company instead of putting the blame on the middleman. I only have great things to say about this business!

Daniel Lai was transferred to another Patch (I think) probably about a year ago. There were 2Read Morewomen "reporters" who replaced him. I can't remember who they were because I haven't seen their names on anything in a really long time. Please, contact the Patch and complain. We are not being represented, things dated January 31 are still showing up as news items. This is ridiculous.
Beth Dalbey February 06, 2014 at 01:32 PM
