The Lady Dreads cross country team finished 19th in their division at the state meet on Saturday. The muddy course challenged runners aiming for personal record times. At the end of the race, the girls were covered with mud and beaming huge smiles. Seniors Cailin McLean, Robin Jackson, and Elise Dombkowski finished the season strong. Juniors Elizabeth Greve, Charlotte Read, and Alex Ammann will be returning along with Sophomore Alli McLean to run for Dexter again next year. Up and coming freshmen Jordan McGinnis and Lindsey Hayter are athletes to watch for next year as well.
From the boys team, Junior Kavi Kulkarni qualified as an individual runner and also competed at the state meet.
