The other news isn’t uncool, but it will require patience. The ice rink isn’t quite ready for blades, as skating too soon can damage the liner, according to a notice on the Village of Dexter web site.
Village officials have said the free skating rink generates more foot traffic downtown and helps create a sense of community because it’s a fun place where people and families can hang out and engage in physical activity, village officials have said.
