Service Groups Host Thanksgiving Dinner for Dexter Seniors

The free meal is open to all seniors in the Dexter community.

Service groups throughout the community will come together to provide a hot Thanksgiving meal to Dexter seniors on Nov. 23 during the 11th annual "Seniors Get Stuffed" event.

This year “Seniors Get Stuffed” will be held from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Dexter Senior Center. Doors will open at 11 a.m. Individuals who are 55 and older or who are disabled are invited to attend this event.

Busch’s will be providing the turkeys and all the trimmings. Residents Mark MacPherson and Fred Model will be cooking the turkeys on site. The Dexter Lions Club, Boy Scout Troop 477, the Dexter High School Key Club and Leo’s Club, as well as St. Andrew’s Church and the United Methodist Women, will help out at the event.
