Dexter Community Orchestra Holds First Concert of 2012 on March 18

The orchestra will perform selections from the "Mother Goose Suite," and other classic compositions.

The (DCO) will perform its first concert of 2012 at on March 18.

Director Anthony Elliot will conduct the musical ensembles for the performance. The concert will feature Maurice Ravel’s “Mother Goose Suite," Louis Spohr’s “Duo Concertante No.2 in b minor” and Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov's “Scheherazad."

Paul and Linda Rosenthal will perform on the violin.

The DCO was founded in 2005, and has since been dedicated to sharing the experience of live classical music through symphonic performance. The DCO has four main concerts each season, as well as a summer pops concert, and chamber music concerts. This non-profit organization encourages new members to become a part of the DCO.
