The orchestra will perform at Barnes and Noble and at the University of Michigan on Jan. 26 and Feb. 8.

The Dexter Community Orchestra's Chamber Concert Series will host two free concerts in the Ann Arbor area.

The first performance will be held at the Barnes and Noble, 3235 Washtenaw Ave. in Ann Arbor, on Jan. 26 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This event is a chamber concert with five groups performing: flute duet, string and wind trio, wind octet, wind quintet, and a string duet.

The Dexter group also has a performance scheduled at the Mendelssohn String Octet at the University of Michigan Commons on Asa Gray Drive off Huron Parkway in Ann Arbor on Feb. 8 at 7 p.m.

These events are free and open to the public.

The Dexter orchestra group has been performing at community concerts at the Dexter District Library, and recently expanded to include other concerts across Washtenaw County.
