When: Saturday, June 11th at 7:00 PM

Where: The grounds of stately Gordon Hall, 8341 Island Lake Rd, Dexter, MI

Your evening experience will include:

  • Live period music & social hour
  • Conversation with the President and First Lady

  • Escorted lantern tour of military and civilian encampments, and

ABOUT CIVIL WAR DAYS AT GORDON HALL

Civil War Days at Gordon Hall is expected to be a showcase event in the State of Michigan’s sesquicentennial celebration of the American Civil War. It will run June 10-12, 2011 and feature a variety of activities highlighting 1860s military and civilian culture in an entertaining environment for visitors of all ages. ABOUT THE DEXTER AREA HISTORICAL SOCIETY & MUSEUM

Located in the Village of Dexter, Michigan, the Dexter Area Historical Society and Museum serves as western Washtenaw County's link with history. The group was founded in 1971 and owns and operates a museum and the nearby historic Gordon Hall, the 1840’s estate of the community’s founding Samuel Dexter family.
