It's a Wonderful Life is back, Nov. 17-Dec. 23 at the Encore Musical Theatre Company. It's a musical based on the 1946 classic Frank Capra film starring Jimmy Stewart, where we head to Bedford Falls, N.Y., and watch George Bailey face a crisis and doubt his self-worth, wondering if it would be better had he never been born at all. Thanks to the angel Clarence, George finds out just how much of a difference he's made to his family, friends, community, and even the world.
It's a Wonderful Life debuted at Encore in 2010, but this year's version features new scenes and musical numbers, so you get the classic story, but with a slight remix, so to speak.
