Harvest Art Market

Looking for the perfect piece of pottery? Hand designed earrings? Original photography from around the world? Mark your calendars for the fourth annual Harvest Art Market held at Silver Maples of Chelsea. The Harvest Art Market has become a favorite show in western Washtenaw County because it not only offers the best of southeast Michigan artists and craftsmen, but also provide a selection of great art at a wide spectrum of prices.

Several of the Market’s favorites are back, including Lauren Kingsley’s hand-painted scarves and apparel, and Cheryl Green’s botanical-themed pottery. Manchester’s Wendy St. Antoine will also be back with her hand-painted antique barn silhouette plaques and assorted objects. New vendors this year include sisters Linda Musolf and Barb Saalfeld, from East Lansing. Their pictures and stationery are created from the flowers and herbs grown in their gardens. Watercolorist Phyllis Branch will be coming in from Kalamazoo to show her prints and paintings.

The Harvest Art Market will also include performances from the Huron Valley Harmonizers “What 4” barbershop quartet and the Quarto Dolce Wind & String Quartet. A bake sale will also be held with profits benefiting employee scholarships.
