The Wedding Singer: A Musical Comedy
Bring the whole family and party like it’s 1985 when the Dexter Community Players present THE WEDDING SINGER Friday, July 22, & Saturday, July 23, at 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, July 23, & Sunday, July 24, at 2:00 p.m. at The Dexter Center for the Performing Arts inside Dexter High School, 2200 North Parker Road, Dexter, Michigan. THE WEDDING SINGER opened on Broadway in 2006 and received five Tony Award nominations including Best Musical and Best Original Score. The musical tells the story of wedding singer Robbie Hart and waitress Julia Sullivan, along with the colorful cast of characters in their lives. Memorable songs include, “It’s Your Wedding Day”, “Pop!” and “Come Out of the Dumpster”. The Dexter Community Players are celebrating their 30th anniversary season. The cast is drawn from many communities in southeastern Michigan.

Direction is by Dr. Ronald P. Baumanis, with musical direction by John Tartaglia.
Tickets are $12.00 in advance, and $15.00 at the door. The Box Office opens 30 minutes prior to show time.
