Take an Art Break at the Dexter District Library

The photography on display features places in New Mexico, Greece, Michigan, Florida, Spain and more.

"The Spirit of Place" art gallery, provided by Distinct Designs Inc., is currently on the lower level and first floor of the Dexter District Library.

The photographers Angela and Jim George said that looking at their photographs opens the viewer to the soul of each place.

Angela and Jim George live in Ann Arbor and have been working as photographers for 20 years. Many of their pieces reflect their travels through the U.S., Mexico, Central America, Europe and North Africa.

The photography on display is also available for sale, with pieces ranging from $145 to $300. 

The gallery is not permanent, so see it while you can during library hours: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
