Residents Agree, Traffic Is the Worst Thing About Going Back to School in Dexter

The weather is getting cooler and the back-to-school commercials are on a constant loop. Yes, it's that time of the year - time to send the kids back to school.

Patch asked on the Dexter Patch Facebook Page what the worst part of going back to school was. Not surprisingly, Dexter residents said the traffic near the schools is the worst part of going back to school.

"Traffic at Dexter Pinckney and Island Lake....we need a bypass," Donna Honer Low wrote.

"Unfortunately too many people think the subdivision is a by pass! What makes them so special? We all are headed the same way. Cheaters who think they are better really make my commute terrible," Holly Marr Kipfmiller wrote.

Maritza Alvarez said school buses were the worst part of going back to school.
