Do you have a young scientist, a budding engineer, or an inquiring child on your hands?  Do they like to take apart or build things?  Enrollment is now open for Camp Invention, a program of Invent Now, offered through Dexter Community Education focused on STEM studies - science, technology, engineering, and math.  Additionally, camp will inspire creativity and inventive thinking during this weeklong summer adventure of fun and exciting challenges.

Limited camp scholarships are available upon request--first come, first served. Contact Kathy Wilker directly to apply for one (734 424-4100 Ext. 1303 or wilkerk@dexterschools.org).

Students from Dexter and the surrounding communities entering grades one through six are eligible to register for this week long program which will be held from June 23 to June 27 at Dexter High School from 9 am to 3:30 pm.   Before camp child care from 6:30 am and after camp child care to 6:00 pm is also available for a nominal fee.

Dexter Schools teachers will guide Camp Invention's new program, Geo-Quest, featuring Cache Dash where you join an international expedition, navigating your way to treasure-filled caches containing global challenges presented by youth around the world.  Also featured is Launchitude where students build a launching machine.  Camp Director, Kathy Wilker, can provide additional information and be reached at 734 424-4100 Ext. 1303 or wilkerk@dexterschools.org.
