Camp Invention: Super Go

Camp Invention is organized as a series of daily modules that build on each other throughout the week. Children are organized into age groups and rotate through the modules each day.

In Super Go, the kids are given a mission on day one: to design and build a prototype vehicle that would be capable of traveling by land, sea, or air. Children earn coins through the week that can be used to purchase essential elements for building the invention.

On subsequent days, the students study fuel, adaptations of plants and animals, and the mechanical advantages of pulleys and propellers. Students later test and build ramps, tunnels, and obstacles throughout the week and end day five with an exciting race that showcases their vehicle's land-based capabilities.

Camp runs June 23-27, 2014 from 9am to 3:30pm.
