Gas Leak Closes Dexter-Pinckney Road Near Island Lake Road

A gas leak was reported in Dexter Township on Wednesday afternoon by the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office.

A gas leak near Dexter-Pinckney and Island Lake roads in Dexter Township is causing a traffic delay.

The Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office sent out a Nixle alert on Wednesday afternoon around 2:30 p.m. informing residents to avoid the area due to a current road closure.

The road will remain closed until 5:30 p.m. Traffic is being routed through the Westridge subdivision in the Village of Dexter. No further information is available.

Great that you saw that as a teachable moment..so in…Read More some ways the other guy was on to something :) I have learned that when I point my one finger at someone else for doing something that I thought was wrong, I need to remember that I have 3 fingers pointing right back at me that make me check my part in the situation. The same being said that when I point at someone who I think has something better than me that I need to remind myself of what I should be grateful for. The other guy could have been a straight up jerk, or he has something going on in his life that you were not aware of...cause and effect are not always a straight line.

Hopefully, she will understand that she over-reacted and we will "bump" into each other again with better understanding, empathy and compassion. It was, as you can imagine, difficult for me to show restraint at such a bully.
