Will children between 10-15 be able to use the facilities in a family membership? I understand the Chelsea facility will only permit children over 15 in any circumstances. It would be a real shame if they did not allow kids - and keep many people still driving into the Ann Arbor Y.

Young children around heavy workout equipment presents dangers to the children, adults working out and the facility, particularly if unsupervised, which many would be if their parents are working out. Similarly, swimming pools, i.e., lap or warm water pools, would require lifeguard services and present additional dangers if children were on site. Many, if not most, gyms don't allow unsupervised children on site.

Who said anything about unsupervised children?

The Dexter Wellness Center website says they will offer "programs and amenities to people of all ages". I will be stopping by their sales office to find out what that means for my 12 year old.

Same question at Dextorite, how much? Makes me think it is unreasonably high.
