When Bill Westman was laid off from Chrysler in 2008, he decided to focus on his family business full-time. He and his family had been growing Christmas trees on their property in Dexter since 1967, and moving trees since 2001.

How did your business come to be?: We wanted to hire a business to move trees from our farm to residents homes and could not find someone reliable so we went into business ourselves.

What kind of services do you offer?: We offer on site and off site moves as well as tree sales.

What's a fact about your business that most customers probably don't know?: That I'm a perfectionist and I'm not happy until my customer is.

What do you want your business to be best known for?: We want to be know for our reliability and honesty. When we come and give a quote on a tree moving job, I will let you know if what you want can be done and give you the best price possible.

When was the business founded?: We started moving trees in 2001. Bill went full time in 2008 after being laid off from Chrysler. Our Christmas tree patch has been around from 1967.
