What Small Business in Dexter Can You Not Live Without?

In light of Small Business Saturday, Dexter Patch asked our Facebook readers what small business in town could they not live without and why.

We can't really say we were surprised with all the replies we received, with Dexter being such a great place to shop local.

Laurie Meyer Grant: "Life is Good — Lisa Prebenda Zahra always has a smile to make your day and we love all the Life is Good merchandise!"

Tina Hutchinson Jones: "Red Brick! The food is wonderful and the owners are wonderful. And my kids love it!"

Lisa Wentzel LaRoe: "The Dexter Mill! All of my animal feeds/supplies, winter work wear, people snacks ... and of course the great employees, owner and CEO."

Barbara Read: "Hackney Ace Hardware. I'm so glad to have a hardware store in town for those fix-it supplies I forgot and super helpful staff for advice. We're renovating a rental property and before I head over to work on it, I stop by Hackney."
