Lisa Wentzel LaRoe: "The Dexter Mill! All of my animal feeds/supplies, winter work wear, people snacks ... and of course the great employees, owner and CEO."

Barbara Read: "Hackney Ace Hardware. I'm so glad to have a hardware store in town for those fix-it supplies I forgot and super helpful staff for advice. We're renovating a rental property and before I head over to work on it, I stop by Hackney."

Jessica Draper: "Dexter Mill."

Eric Walton: "Hackney. I dearly love my hardware store. A close second is the Dexter Cider Mill."

Mark D. Olexa: "The Dexter Cider Mill, Americana at it's best."

Kevin M Riddle: "I'm kind of partial to the Parts Peddler. Not just because I work there, but because I firmly believe it's Dexter's best kept secret. Most people don't even know we're here."

Joe Valentine: "Dairy Queen. Without that I wouldn't have the manish figure I have today."

Marilyn K. Wilkie: "Dexter Mill, definitely! They have always been here, the folks that work there are great and the merchandise is top rate. They retain some of the old Dexter we love."

Trenton Green: "The Dexter Bakery, nothing like quality donuts and coffee in the morning."

Kylie Magnus: "Foggy Bottom. Great food, coffee and service! Closely followed by Christine's for awesome unique gifts. Though my husband would say Hackney Hardware, it's his home away from home."

Kim Huttenga: "Simpson Family Chiropractic!"

Laura Jones: "Mary Ann's! My kids love to go there and my daughter loves the classes. She can teach them things I can't that are also useful!"

Margaret Govaere Steptoe: "I agree with all of the above and I'd like to add Curves to the list."

Alison Tracy-Gabriel: "Generations together! Definitely the best daycare in the area. Serving both children and seniors."

Susan Shay: "Joe and Rosie's. Love the coffee, atmosphere and home baked goodies."
