$10,000 Powerball Ticket Purchased in Dexter

The Sunoco station at 2940 Baker Rd. sold a $10,000 ticket in Wednesday's record Powerball drawing.

Dexter proved a lucky location for the record $587.5 million Powerball drawing.

Some fortunate person close to home matched four numbers and the Powerball in Wednesday’s drawing to win $10,000.

That ticket was purchased at the Sunoco station located at 2940 Baker Rd. in Dexter, according to a press release from the Michigan Lottery.

There were 18 $10,000 winners in Michigan and two $1 million winners.

The $1 million tickets were sold at a CVS store in Dearborn and at East Paris Discount Liquor in Kentwood.

The winning Powerball numbers for the Nov. 28, 2012 drawing are 5, 16, 22, 23, 29 and a Powerball number of 6.

The two grand prize tickets were purchased in Dearborn, MO and Fountain Hill, AZ. The ticket holders will share the $587.5 million jackpot.
