1. The weather

The National Weather Service forecasts widespread frost before 8 a.m. The afternoon calls for mostly sunny skies, with a high near 65 degrees. Wednesday night it will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 48 degrees.

2. Social networking class

A social networking class will take place at the tonight at 6 p.m. In this class, you’ll learn about new Internet trends including social networking sites (Facebook, Twitter, etc.), social bookmarking, and more. Registration is required. For more information, call 734-426-4477.

3. Gluten-Free Gourmet

Are you living with a gluten allergy or intolerance? Are you trying to navigate the gluten-free world and are a little overwhelmed in the kitchen? Ann Arbor Cooks is offering a class today from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at 5060 Jackson Road, designed to help you out with education and plenty of new ideas.

The menu includes sweet potato biscuits with blackberry jam and orange butter; Quinoa salad with lemon yogurt dressing; salmon cakes with remoulade; and chocolate flourless cake. The cost is $65 per person.

5. This day in history

April 18, 1942: On this day in 1942, 16 American B-25 bombers, launched from the aircraft carrier USS Hornet 650 miles east of Japan and commanded by Lt. Col. James H.
