1. The weather

The National Weather Service predicts showers likely, mainly before 7 a.m. Throughout the day it will be cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with temperatures falling to around 50 degrees by 5 p.m. Tuesday night it will be partly cloudy, with a low around 31 degrees.

2. Varsity boys basketball game

The Dexter varsity boys basketball team will take on Pinckney tonight at 7 p.m. at Dexter High School. Come support the Dexter Dreadnaughts.

3. Bible study at St. Andrew's United Church of Christ

A Bible study will take place at St. Andrew's United Church of Christ today in Dexter beginning at 9:30 a.m. All are invited.

4. Gas prices

MichiganGasPrices.com reports the following gasoline prices in the Dexter area as of Monday night:

5. This day in history

Dec. 4, 2009: On this day in 2009, 22-year-old American exchange student Amanda Knox was convicted of murdering her British roommate, Meredith Kercher, in 2007 in Perugia, Italy. Knox received a 26-year prison sentenc. Her 25-year-old Italian boyfriend, Raffaelle Sollecito also was convicted in the murder. For more historic dates, visit www.history.com.
