The National Weather Service predicts periods of snow showers throughout the day, with temperatures rising to near 29 degrees by 9 a.m., then falling to around 25 degrees during the remainder of the day. Snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are expected. Friday night there is a 40 percent chance of snow showers, with a low around 17 degrees.

2. Boys basketball versus Ypsilanti

Come cheer on the Dexter High School boys' freshmen, junior varsity and varsity basketball teams tonight as they take on Ypsilanti. The first game begins at 4 p.m.
