1. The weather

More snow is heading our way. The National Weather Service predicts an 80 percent chance of snow after 1 p.m. Two to 4 inches of snow are expected on Friday night.

2. Get organized

Carolyn Anderson-Fermann, a professional organizer and , along with financial planner Rob Oliver, will present "Money Matters: Organizing Your Papers for a Successful New Year!" today at 10 a.m. at the Dexter District Library. 3. Dexter versus Chelsea basketball matchup

The Dexter High School varsity boys basketball team will take on the Chelsea Bulldogs today in Chelsea at 6 and 7:30 p.m.

5. This day in history

Jan. 20, 1961: John Fitzgerald Kennedy is inaugurated as the 35th president of the United States. During his famous inauguration address, Kennedy, the youngest candidate ever elected to the presidency, declared that "the torch has been passed to a new generation of Americans," according to History.com.
