1. The weather

The National Weather Service predicts a chance of snow showers today, with mostly cloudy skies and a high near 11 degrees. Tuesday night snow flurries are likely, with a low around 5 degrees.

2. Dexter High School basketball

The Dexter High School boys varsity basketball team will take on Brighton today at 7:30 p.m. at the high school. Come support your Dreadnaughts.

3. 8th Annual African American Dinner

Dexter resident Alex Young will host a special dinner at Zingerman's Roadhouse today at 7 p.m. Author Toni Tipton-Martin and Chef Alex have created a menu featuring many classic African-American foods. Tipton-Martin will share her knowledge and stories at the dinner, introducing guests to many great African-American cooks and their contribution to this rich history and cuisine. The cost is $45.

4. Gas prices
