The National Weather Service predicts snow showers likely on Wednesday, mainly after 9 a.m. Mostly cloudy skies, with a high near 18. Wind chill values could be as low as -9 degrees. Wednesday night scattered snow showers are likely, mainly before 1 a.m.

2. Hot Science for a Cold Day at Dexter Library

Children in grades 4-8 are invited to the Dexter District Library today at 3 p.m. for fun science experiments about snow and temperatures. The event is free and open to the public.

3. Bicycle Clinic at Aberdeen Bike & Outdoors

Aberdeen Bike & Outdoors in Chelsea will host a free "On the road service clinic" today at 6:30 p.m. at the store. For more information, email aberdeenbike@sbcglobal.net.

4. Gas prices
