2. Village Council meets

The Dexter Village Council at 7:30 p.m. at the . The council will consider creating an Industrial Development District for MedHub, located at 3515 Broad St.

The Village of Dexter is currently working on developing a new website. It would like to incorporate photos that feature the town. 5. This day in history

Jan. 9, 1776: According to History.com, on this day, writer Thomas Paine publishes his pamphlet "Common Sense," setting forth his arguments in favor of American independence. Although little used today, pamphlets were an important medium for the spread of ideas in the 16th through 19th centuries.
