1. The weather

The National Weather Service predicts a chance of showers and thunderstorms today, with a high near 89 degrees. Wednesday night will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 65 degrees.

2. 2012 Ann Arbor Art Fair

The Ann Arbor Art Fair will be held from July 18-21 in downtown Ann Arbor. Each artist has been selected by an independent jury, consisting of professional artists, professors and gallery owners. The fair will feature a wide variety of art media, including 2D and 3D-mixed media, drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, ceramics, fiber, glass, jewelry and works in metal, stone and wood. 3. Ultimate frisbee game

Dexter United Methodist Church will host an ultimate frisbee game for local youth today at 10 a.m. at the church. For more information, call 426-8480.

5. This day in history

JUly 18, 1969: Shortly after leaving a party on Chappaquiddick Island, Senator Edward Kennedy of Massachusetts drove an Oldsmobile off a wooden bridge into a pond.
