1. The weather

The National Weather Service predicts a 30 percent of showers and thunderstorms after 3 p.m., with a high near 89 degrees. Monday night there is a chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8 p.m., with a low around 67 degrees.

2. Dexter Board of Education meeting

The Dexter Community Schools Board of Education meets tonight at 7 p.m. at . The board will take action on its facility use fees for the 2012-2013 school year, and discuss the district's pay to participate policy.

3. Trash/Recycle pick-up delay

Trash/recycle/compost pick-up will be delayed until July 7 the week of July 2 for Dexter Village residents. Village Offices will be closed on Wednesday for the 4th of July holiday.

4. Gas prices

MichiganGasPrices.com reports the following gasoline prices in the Dexter area as of Monday night:

5. This day in history
