The National Weather Service predicts showers and thunderstorms likely today, mainly after noon. Friday will be partly sunny, with a high near 80 degrees. Friday night there is a chance of showers and thunderstorms before 2 a.m.

2. Fourth Friday Celebration at Artistica

The featured artist for this Friday’s presentation at will be Linda Todd.  She will show her jewelry pieces as well as other glass items for the home. The event takes place from 5 to 8 p.m. The public is invited. Refreshments will be served.

3. Summer Concert Series

July 27, 1974: On this day in 1974, the House Judiciary Committee recommended that America's 37th president, Richard M. Nixon, be impeached and removed from office.
