2. Exoplanet Discoveries presentation

University of Michigan Astronomer Brendan Miller will lead a discussion on hot Jupiters and Super Earths today at the at 7 p.m. The presentation is free and open to the public.

3. Ann Arbor Jaycees 61st Annual Summer Carnival

Unlimited ride wristbands cost $20. There is a minimum ticket purchase of $5 for admittance after 9pm and no admittance after 10pm. Carnival hours and ticket prices are subject to change. The carnival takes place at 601 W. Stadium Blvd., Ann Arbor.
