2. Second Annual Dexter-Chelsea Dual Golf Outing

The second annual Dexter-Chelsea Golf Outing takes place today, with registration at 8 a.m. A shotgun round starts at 9 a.m. A team of four costs $500 and individual players cost $125. The cost includes snacks on the course, beverages, a lunch buffet, contests and awards. The event takes place at Reddeman Farms, 555 Dancer Road. 3. Ann Arbor Country Club Wine Tasting

The Ann Arbor Country Club will host a wine tasting on June 23 from 7-10 p.m. There will be several wine distributors with wines for tasting and purchase. Cost is $30 per person plus tax and gratuity. For more information, visit www.annarborcc.com.

5. This day in history

June 5, 1968: On this day, Sen. Robert Kennedy was assassinated at the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles after winning the California presidential primary. Immediately after he announced to his cheering supporters that the country was ready to end its fractious divisions, Kennedy was shot several times by Palestinian Sirhan Sirhan.
