The National Weather Service predicts Thursday will be mostly sunny, with a high near 77 degrees. Thursday night will be mostly clear, with a low around 53 degrees.

2. Comedy Showcase at the Chelsea District Library

The Chelsea District Library will feature live stand-up comedy on the library lawn tonight from 6:30-8 p.m. Tonight's free show features Jim McHugh. McHugh's well-written material is delivered with just the right amount of credibility that makes you believe he's a certified lunatic. Based in the comedy rich metropolis of Chicago, he draws on his life growing up in the Windy City. Sports, drunks and odd observations pave the way to a hilarious show with this highly animated comedian.

3. Weekend rummage sale

will hold a rummage sale from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. June 8, and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 9. A bake sale and light refreshments will also be provided. Clothing, small appliances, toys, furniture and household items are featured. The church is located at 7601 Ann Arbor St. in Dexter.
