2. Mill Creek Middle School Parent Coffee Hour

Parents are invited to attend a coffee hour with administration each month. Meetings will alternate between morning and evenings. Today's meeting is from 7:30-8:30 a.m. at .

3. Beer Tasting and Silent Auction

A silent auction fundraiser for the Make-A-Wish Foundation will take place at the Arbor Brewing Company today at 5:30 p.m. This year, a beer tasting and appetizers will accompany the usual silent auction. Items include hotel stays, spa and fitness packages, rounds of golf, a Motawi Tilework, Revo Sunglasses, and more. The cost is $33 in advance. Tickets can be purchased by calling 734-213-1393.

5. This day in history

May 23, 1934: On this day, famed fugitives Clyde Barrow and Bonnie Parker were killed in a police ambush near Sailes, Louisiana. A contingent of officers from Texas and Louisiana set up along the highway, waiting for Bonnie and Clyde to appear, and then unloaded a two-minute fusillade of 167 bullets at their car, killing the criminal couple.
