Dexter Boy Scouts Winter Hike Set for Sunday
The hike will start at the Hudson Mills Activity Center at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 27.
The Dexter Boy Scouts' third annual All-Scout Winter Hike will take place on Jan. 27 from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at Hudson Mills Metropark.
The hike will start at the Hudson Mills Activity Center and continue to the park's Acorn Trail for 2 miles.
Hot chocolate, hot dogs, and a bonfire will be provided after the hike. Cub Scouts can earn their hiking belt loop. Boy Scouts are needed for trail guides, food and fire help.
Participants must purchase the daily $5 metroparks pass, or the annual $25 pass. For more information, email kgbdex@comcast.net.
