Dexter Busch's Offers Free Lunch for Residents

All 15 Busch's stores are also asking people to donate money to the Dexter Disaster Relief Fund.

has organized a lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday for Dexter community members affected by the storms. They will have hotdogs, snacks and drinks available in front of the Dexter store.

Store manager Brady Rumble said the store is doing what it can to help people affected by Thursday's tornado.

"After the storm passed and we made sure everyone was OK, we hit the streets with water," Rumble said.

He said the store stayed open all night for people to come in and get food, and employees were back on the streets Friday morning with water and donuts.

"Everyone who has come in her has been pretty upbeat," Rumble said. "A lot of people are really grateful that their house is still standing and no one was seriously injured."

Rumble said the store will be open all afternoon to provide food to people affected by the tornado.

Also, beginning today, all 15 Busch's stores will be asking customers to round up their order total, with the difference going to the Dexter Disaster Relief Fund through the Salvation Army.

"Someone just came in and gave a $500 donation," Rumble said. "You just have to come in and ask to donate. You can give $5 or 32 cents in loose change."
