The Red Cross will be collecting whole blood, which will be used to help individuals in Southeast Michigan who need transfusions during surgeries, as a result of accidents, or as a part of ongoing medical treatments.

New donors are encouraged to stop in during the day of the drive. Existing donors may schedule an appointment time in advance on the Red Cross web site, www.redcrossblood.org. Use the sponsor code "dexterlibrary" to locate the drive.
