Village Manager Donna Dettling said the parade is open to any organization in the community. Participants are asked to fill out a registration form on the village's website and line up at Wylie Elementary School at 9 a.m. The parade will start promptly at 10 a.m.

"This is a tradition we want to continue," Dettling said. "It has been a tradition in our community for many years and so many people look forward to it."

Dettling said she hopes all of last year's parade participants will return this year.

"We're trying to get early entries for the parade this year, but people can still show up and join the parade," Dettling said. "We're not charging anything. We just want to know what the parade will look like as early as we can if possible."
