Five Things You Need to Know Today: Dec. 15

We are still looking for submissions for our Deck the House holiday contest to help out Dexter Schools. If you are decorating your house in lights this year, snap a photo for a chance to win $500 and $100,000 for Dexter.

The National Weather Service predicts there will be occasional showers, mainly before noon today, with areas of fog before 7 a.m. Temperatures will fall to around 43 degrees by 5 p.m. Thursday night will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 28 degrees.

2. St. Andrew's Piece-makers quilt group meets

3. Faith in Action food drive

Dayspring Gifts in Chelsea is conducting a five-day food drive for the Faith in Action food pantry through Friday. Those who donate a food item will receive 10 percent off an item of their choice, up to five items per person. For more information, call 734-475-7501.
