1. The weather

The National Weather Service predicts there will be a 30 percent chance of rain today, with cloudy skies and a high near 43 degrees. Tonight it will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 27 degrees.

2. Dexter School Board meeting

The Dexter Community Schools Board of Education will meet tonight at 7 p.m. at . The board will take action on a proposed all-day kindergarten program. 

3. Use of a helicopter in the village

To complete the final stages of the Washtenaw County Border-to-Border Trail construction, linking Warrior Creek Park to the Westridge subdivision, a helicopter will lay several metal beams today beginning at 8:30 a.m. Do not be alarmed if you hear a low flying helicopter in the Warrior Creek Park area.
