1. The weather

The National Weather Service predicts there will be scattered snow showers with a high of 32 degrees today. There is a 50 percent chance of precipitation. Tonight there is a 40 percent chance of snow showers, with mostly cloudy skies and a low around 17 degrees.

2. Christmas Odyssey

hosts its Christmas Odyssey today, where guests will gather to tour 10 interactive Bible scenes, from the Garden of Eden to Moses to the birth of Jesus. After the journey, everyone will gather for refreshments. The event is free and open to the public. Tours begin at 6 p.m.

3. Friday Night Movie

The will show Bright Star starring Ben Whishaw and Abbie Cornish today at 6:30 p.m. The story takes place in 1818 in London, England. A secret love affair begins between 23-year-old English poet, John Keats, and the girl next door, Fanny Brawne, an outspoken student of fashion. The movie is free and open to the public.
