2. Township meeting

The Dexter Township Board of Trustees meets at 7 p.m. today at the . The board will consider a contract with the Western Washtenaw Recycling Authority, among other items on the agenda.

3. Take a trip to Ecuador

The will host a photo slide show presentation on tourist attractions in Ecuador at 7 p.m. The beauty of Ecuador is that you can change your surroundings as quickly as you change your mind. One day, you will stroll through the markets in search of hand-woven woollen sweaters to take the chill off, and the next day, you may find yourself sweating while watching howler monkeys in the Amazon jungle. This free program is open to all, but children must be accompanied by an adult.

4. Gas prices

On the road today? As of 8 a.m. Tuesday, MichiganGasPrices.com reports the lowest gas price at $3.69 per gallon at the Pilot station at 195 Baker Rd. near Interstate 94 and Exit 167 in Dexter.
