The National Weather Service predicts it's going to be mostly sunny and hot, with a high near 96 degrees and heat index values as high as 103. Wednesday evening will be partly cloudy, with a low around 75.
2. Laser tag
Escape the heat with a game of laser tag indoors at Lazer Planet in Dexter. Games cost $5 for seven minutes, $7 for 12 minutes or $13 for two 12-minute sessions. Lazer Planet is open from noon-9 p.m. today.

On the road today? Michigangasprices.com is reporting the cheapest gas at $3.69 a gallon as of Tuesday at the station, 195 Baker Rd. in Dexter.
