Five Things You Need to Know Today: Oct. 26

1. The weather

The National Weather Service predicts a 30 percent chance of showers today with cloudy skies and a high near 54 degrees. Wednesday night there will be a 40 percent chance of rain, cloudy, with a low around 35 degrees.

2. Book Snackers Book Club meets

The Book Snackers book discussion group for grades 3-5 will meet today at 4:30 p.m. The group will discuss Dying to Meet You: 43 Old Cemetery Road by Kate Klise. Registration is required by calling 734-426-4477.

3. Dexter High School Halloween concert

The Orchestra will perform a Halloween-themed concert today from 7-8:30 p.m. The concert is free and open to the public. The concert will take place at the high school's Performing Arts Center.
