  • Somewhere in Time Book Club

The Somewhere in Time Book Club will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at the . The club will discuss American Brutus: John Wilkes Booth and the Lincoln Conspiracies by Michael W. Kaufman. Registration is required. The event is free and open to the public.

  • Dexter Farmers Market

The will be open from 3-7 p.m. Tuesday on Alpine Street next to the Dexter District Library. Come check out the local produce and plants for sale.

  • Dexter Community Schools Budget Review

At 7 p.m. Thursday, Dexter Community Schools officials will have a review of the draft budget for the community at . There will be an opportunity for public feedback to the Board of Education regarding the budget June 20. The Board of Education meets at in the Media Center.

  • Sounds & Sights

The 11-week summer concert series in Chelsea kicks off from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday. The 2011 lineup features musicians from across Michigan, along with a variety of children’s attractions and activities including face painters, jugglers, balloon artists and magicians. The free summer concert series kicks off at 6:30 p.m. Friday with the performing at the gazebo in Monument Park.
