1. Village Council Public Hearing
The Dexter Village Council will hold a public hearing at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the . The topic of this hearing is amendments to the General Code of Ordinances to institute fines for violations of the regulations governing medical marijuana home occupations.
2. Red Cross Golf Outing
The Red Cross Golf Outing will take place from 1-8 p.m. Monday at the Ann Arbor Country Club. The fundraiser costs $40 and includes unlimited golf all day, prizes and free snacks for all participants. To sign up or to donate to the outing, email Brittany at brittany@annarborcc.com. There is no deadline for signup, but it is recommended to call ahead.
3. Henna Tattoo Workshop
Learn about this ancient-but-temporary way to make designs on your skin at 2 p.m. Monday at the . This workshop is for children in Grades 6 and older. The event is free, but registration is required. Call 734-426-4477.

4. Watercolor Painting Workshop
Susan Clinthorne will hold a summer watercolor workshop at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at the . Sessions cost $10 for members and $12.50 for nonmembers. Call 426-7737 to register.
5. Fourth of July Fireworks
will host a fireworks display Sunday. Big Pinky and the Joint Effort Band, playing classic rock, will perform at the Activity Center from 7-11 p.m. with a break for fireworks at 10 p.m. The park entrance gate will close to incoming traffic at 9 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
